Preparatory Course for Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)

The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination is an annual examination conducted in Singapore. The examinations are jointly set, mainly by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) and the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE). The qualification is recognised internationally and is accepted for entry in many tertiary institutions around the world, including universities in Singapore.

This course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge and skillset necessary in their pursuit of higher education and future employment. At the end of the programme, students will sit for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination conducted by the Singapore Examination and Assessment Board (SEAB). Course Duration and Commencement Period

Full Time Students

24 months, 5 weekdays, 6 hours daily
The course commences in January every year.

Course Admission Requirements

Age Required Academic:
16 years old and above

Qualifications Required
Have equivalent of Middle School of O Level; have passed equivalent of Middle School English Language or O Level English Language

Mode of Assessment

Internal Assessment
There are 2 internal assessments per term one in the middle and one at the end of the term.

External Assessment
Students can register for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination

GCE A Level Science Practical Examinations will be conducted in October; and

Examinations for all other GCE A Level subjects will be held between November and December.

Course Completion

The maximum allowed period for a student to complete the course is 30 months. Student is not entitled to a refund if the student fails to complete the programme within the stipulated maximum allowed period for the student to complete a course.

Requirement for Course Commencement

Victoria Eduhub reserves the right to refrain from commencing the course if the minimum number of students is not met. Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course will apply. The school will commence a class with a minimum number of one (1) student.

Type of Qualification

Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Certificate awarded by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and University of Cambridge International Examinations, after successful completion of GCE 'A' Level Examinations.

The three (3) types of fee chargeable by Victoria Eduhub are

1. Application Fee

A one-time application fee is non-refundable.

2. Course Fees

The Committee for Private Education (CPE) has regulatory provisions and requirements to protect course fees that are payable by students who are enrolled in a private education institution (PEI).
Victoria EDUHUB subscribes to these regulatory provisions and requirements in its collection of fees from full-time students.

The course fee is refundable and will be subjected to Victoria Eduhub refund policy.
